For all laser-cut parts in carbon steel up to 12 mm thick, the linear tolerance is ±0.1 mm for lengths under 500 mm and ±0.15 mm for longer lengths. Internal radii are delivered with a minimum value equivalent to the material thickness. These specifications apply to series orders without subsequent grinding.
The fiber laser cutting process produces burr-free edges on the top and bottom faces for thicknesses up to 8 mm. In materials of 10 mm or more, a slight vertical striation of up to 0.2 mm depth may appear, which does not affect part functionality or fit tolerance. No subsequent grinding is performed unless specified in the drawing.
The buyer has 10 business days from receipt of the batch to notify of dimensional or material discrepancies. The claim must be accompanied by the inspection report with out-of-tolerance measurements. Laserhitch will evaluate the case and, if the deviation is confirmed, reschedule production at no additional cost. Returns due to changes in the customer's design after the manufacturing order are not accepted.
The client is solely responsible for the geometry and dimensions indicated in the DXF or DWG file. Laserhitch performs an automatic verification of closed contours and thicknesses but does not validate the design intent. If a critical inconsistency is detected during the cutting process (e.g., a blind hole without a through hole), production is stopped and the client is notified before proceeding.
No. The standard quotation covers laser cutting, laser marking identification (up to 20 characters), and industrial packaging. Any additional treatment — galvanizing, phosphating, electrostatic painting, quenching, or tempering — is quoted separately and must be requested before the purchase order is issued. Delivery times are extended depending on the complexity of the treatment.
